WHY IS IT RISING??? was made in the context of the

PolyMars x ScoreSpace

game jam.

The theme of this game jam was Overheat. With that the player must climb a tower while lava is slowly but surely climbing its way to the player. The player has a jumpforce that overheats and needs to cooldown after a jump.

All assets were made by my brother and me (art and SFX) with some exceptions:

• jump.mp3 (jump sound)
• text font used
• explosion.mp3 (door opening sound)
• lava.mp3 (lava sound)

The first 3 assets are from Brackeys Platformer Bundle v1 and the lava sound is Heavy Bubbles from casiba842.
